Description
Sminge Sø or Lake Sminge. With its marshes and swampy reed vegetation, the lake attracts abundant birdlife, both as a breeding ground and a resting place for Nordic waterfowl. It shelters large flocks of labuť zpěvná and husa velká in the winter. It is one of the few places in the Søhøjlandet with slavík tmavý(in the thickets along the river a little south of the lake). Other birds you can expect are potápka roháč, potápka rudokrká, polák velký, polák chocholačka, strnad rákosní and moták pochop.
