Description

Oldenor is the result a major nature restoration project. The lake has previously been drained and cultivated. In 1993, the drainage of the lake stopped and it quickly developed into an exciting natural area. Today, it is a breeding and resting place for a wide range of bird species. The lake and surrounding meadows and scrub forests attract many birds. At the path along the south side of Oldenor the rich bird life can be spotted. It's a somewhat hilly area with some excellent viewpoints along the way. Among the birds you can encounter are lžičák pestrý, polák velký, hohol severní, morčák velký, hýl obecný, mlynařík dlouhoocasý, krahujec obecný, strnad obecný and strnad rákosní.
