Description

Kragesand is a good place to observe bird migration in late summer and autumn, when Scandinavian birds migrate south. Waders can migrate in August, while in the autumn eider ducks, geese, and terns are seen. Kragesand is, apart from Lakolk on Rømø, the best place in Southern Jutland to find potáplice malá and potáplice severní. chaluha příživná and alka malá are often seen. In the winter, thousands of kajka mořská rest in the sea off Kragesand along with hohol severní, hoholka lední and turpan černý.
