Description

Hindsgavl Peninsula is located in the middle of the Lillebælt Nature Park. The peninsula is located close to Middelfart and is surrounded by an undulating belt, slopes, beaches, beech forests and spruce plantations. Part of the area is a wildlife park with red deer and fallow deer. strakapoud velký, žluna zelená and datel černý breed here and can be found all year round. In the spruce forest there are many tits and you can see sýkora uhelníček and sýkora parukářka among others. When walking along the belt you can see various ducks, swans and other waterfowl, you may also be lucky enough to spot a Harbour Porpoise.

Access

Hindsgavl is located close to the town of Middelfart. Drive in the direction of the old Little Belt Bridge, and follow the signs to Gals Klint camping and park on the corner between Galsklintvej and Granhækken. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.

There are several marked routes in the area of ​​varying difficulty. You pass in and out of the deer park several times through some gates. You can follow the suggested 4 km circular route via GPS, or one of the other marked routes.
