Also the moták pochop is breeding here. On the pond itself breeds many pairs of potápka roháč, lyska černá, kachna divoká and a few pairs of polák velký and polák chocholačka. In the linked rural areas breed ťuhýk obecný, cvrčilka zelená, slavík obecný and many others. Nearby there is a breeding site of břehule říční.
During the spring migration you can see birds such as slavík modráček, bramborníček hnědý, bramborníček černohlavý, lejsek černohlavý, čírka modrá and many other species of waterfowl, bekasina otavní, čejka chocholatá and many, many more species.
Many birds come to spend a night in the reedbed, especially in the end of summer. It is the best place in the area where to watch špaček obecný murmuration. Also vlaštovka obecná and konipas luční come here to spend a night.
During the weekend the location can be overcrowded by people such as fishermen or bikers so I recommend you to visit the location during weekdays. Please do not disturb birds in their breeding habitats and use just visible pathways!
