This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. kachnička mandarinská is common. Also common are polák chocholačka, potápka malá, labuť velká, kachna divoká, racek chechtavý, ledňáček říční, rehek domácí and žluna zelená. In winter racek bělohlavý and kormorán velký are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find kopřivka obecná. In the winter, some rarer ducks like lžičák pestrý, hvízdák eurasijský, hohol severní, morčák velký or zrzohlávka rudozobá can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
