In the Forest of Benátky nad Jizerou you can find more than 5 different species of woodpeckers. For example datel černý and strakapoud prostřední and lots of other little birds like králíček obecný and brhlík lesní. There are many trails to discover this giant forest.

The forest is located directly to the east of the town of Benátky nad Jizerou. You can go there on foot or with the bike. The total walking route indicated on the map is about 10 km, but it is easy to shorten it.
