Mia Milia Sewage Works is a man-made set of sewage treatment pools and surrounding agricultural land on the outskirts of Nicosia. The site attracts breeding waders and has regularly attracted small but significant numbers of the globally threatened kachnice bělohlavá in winter. Other birds you can encounter are lžičák pestrý, čírka obecná, polák malý, frankolín obecný, plameňák růžový, potápka malá, pisila čáponohá, čejka trnitá, pisík obecný, vodouš kropenatý, vodouš rudonohý and vodouš bahenní.
