The Retencija Blato ticklist is 216 species (see link below). There is an island/peninsula which is a popular bird roost Species seen include hýl rudý, zvonohlík zahradní, skřivan lesní, vrabec polní, polák kaholka, tenkozobec opačný, krutihlav obecný, vlha pestrá, volavka červená, polák malý, moták stepní and moták pochop. Note: As of 2022 the website says 'temporarily closed'. Unclear if this applies only to fishing, or all visitors.
