Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly kachna divoká. Some other duck species can be seen like kopřivka obecná, ostralka štíhlá and čírka obecná. In the trees there are common birds like sýkora koňadra, sýkora modřinka and strakapoud velký. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see pěnice černohlavá, pěnkava obecná and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see skorec vodní and morčák velký who nest nearby. Also other species like čáp bílý, volavka popelavá and káně lesní.
