Description
The Handzame Broeken area consists of a extensive agricultural area, being mainly pastures, with scattered trees, bushes and willow tree lanes. The Kreekebeek river flows through the area and is a great spot for waterfowl, like čírka obecná, hvízdák eurasijský and lžičák pestrý. The surrounding pastures are good for flocks of čejka chocholatá. In winter, these pastures are part of the hunting grounds for moták pilich. In winter, area is also good for labuť zpěvná.
The scattered (willow) trees are great for observing sýček obecný and holub doupňák. The scattered bushes and fences are a great spot for breeding species, like bramborníček černohlavý and bramborníček hnědý.

The area doesn't have walking tracks, but you can observe the area from the road.
