Description
The Schlatzingeraue Natur Park is located in the center of the Maltatal and consists of a small resting area surrounded with wet grasslands and forests next to the river. A small track leads you around the grassland and next to the river, where species such as konipas horský and skorec vodní can be seen. Small patches of bushes and scattered trees are great for songbirds, like pěnice černohlavá and šoupálek dlouhoprstý and woodpeckers, like strakapoud velký.
The grassland has several patches with bushes in which species, such as pěnice pokřovní, can be found. With a bit of luck, a ťuhýk obecný might show up here too! The forests, mainly pine, are great for species such as sýkora parukářka, sýkora uhelníček and králíček ohnivý. Also, fairly large numbers of Ořešník kropenatý can be found here too!
