This location consists of little ponds, a little stream, a forest as well as neighboring vineyards and fields where you can encounter e.g. ledňáček říční easily.
With about 4 hectares of water and reed this area is the biggest water biotope in Bad Vöslau. Combined with the forest area and neighboured fields, several animal and plant species can be encountered here. By the western pond you can find ledňáček říční (especially in winter!) and strnad rákosní. Usually Slípka zelenonohá rest near the water's edges or on the trail, although they are very shy. Chřástal vodní has been spotted here as well. Take a look at the trees across the water because volavka popelavá and volavka bílá like to rest there. In the eastern area you can find different species like mlynařík dlouhoocasý, strakapoud velký, strakapoud jižní and so on. Benches to rest can be found around the ponds or by the fishing hut. Heading to the fields and vineyards in the north you are likely to see krahujec obecný, káně lesní, poštolka obecná, bažant obecný deers and rabbits.
By car: You can park at the parking lot in the north or use the southern entry by parking in the side road of Flugfeldstraße. Click on a P in the map to go to the parking of your choice. The fastest way to enter this area is to use the entry in the north by the parking lot in Fasangasse. The trail by the road Flugfeldstraße can also be used near to the highway. At the next junction you must go left to reach the ponds.

By bike: Be advised that riding a bike is prohibited in the area of Remise.
Be advised that a lot of people take their dogs for a walk here. Visiting this area early in the morning or during common working hours is recommended. When it rains a lot, the trails by the ponds can get quite muddy and slippery.
