Description

The Springs is nestled in rainforest halfway up the slopes of Mount Wellington. It is a pleasant picnic spot and is a 'go to' site for Pink Robin.

The Springs connects with The Fernglade Walk and hosts a similar suite of birds - see link.

Other birds at or around this location are Crescent Honeyeater, Green Rosella and Black Currawong. Superb Lyrebird is occasionally reported.

There is good birding at the site itself but better along the various tracks that connect with it.
