Description

Located on the northern boundary of the spectacular Stirling Range National Park the Retreat offers numerous birding opportunities along its trails network. In Spring, Birdlife Western Australia volunteers conduct daily bird appreciation tours and guests are always encouraged to self-explore the trails.

The Retreat boasts an impressive birds list. Twitchers will look for Western Shrike-tit but the site also holds a good variety of 'sought after' bushbirds including Australian Owlet-nightjar, Western Spinebill, Purple-gaped Honeyeater and Western Thornbill.
