Description
Named after a derelict tyre wrapped over a dead small tree, this otherwise unpreposessing location has for twenty years been a 'go-to' site for the 'sought after' Dusky Grasswren. Search both sides of the road and along the adjacent disused quarry.
Other birds found here include Rufous-crowned Emuwren, Grey-headed Honeyeater, Spinifexbird and White-backed Swallow.
