Description

Malcolm Dam was built in 1902 to provide water for a now disused railway. The site has recorded a good range of both water associated birds and bushbirds including Black-tailed Nativehen, Banded Lapwing and Western Bowerbird. Orange Chat is a chance, Red-necked Phalarope has been recorded.

From Leonora proceed 11 km along the Laverton Leonora Road to turn left on to Malcolm Dam Road; total distance 14 km. Press P on the map to access Google mapping.
