Description
At the wide part of the river kachna divoká and čírka obecná are quite common. You can encounter volavka popelavá, volavka bílá, vodouš kropenatý, konipas bílý in the floodplain. The riverbed is surrounded by gardens and deciduous forests. So you can find such forest species as tits (sýkora koňadra, sýkora modřinka), finches (pěnkava obecná, zvonek zelený) and others (budníček menší, budníček žlutavý, strakapoud velký, sojka obecná, kos černý).
As this site is located in the mountains not far away from cliffs, you also can encounter sup bělohlavý and rorýs obecný.

Access
This River Aghstev site is located south of the town of Ijevan. You can get there from Ijevan or from Dilijan by taxi or by car along the road M4. The main landmark - a big stone egg near the guesthouse. Turn there from the M4 highway to the East (to the right if you go from Dilijan and to the left if you go from Ijevan). Then accross the dam and follow the unpaved road. You can observe this area both from M4 highway (there is pedestrian sidewalk) and from the unpaved road on the other side of the river.
