Description

Kari Lake is a high-altitude cold lake nestled at 3200 m on the slopes of Mt. Aragats. The landscape is dramatic and open, with rocky ground, sparse alpine vegetation, and patches of snow even in summer. This harsh but beautiful environment is home to specialized mountain birds. In summer, you can spot species like Radde's Accentor, pěvuška podhorní, skřivan ouškatý, and skalník zpěvný. orlosup bradatý and krkavec velký sometimes soar overhead. The peacefulness, stunning views, and the chance to see hardy, high-mountain species in their natural habitat make this a rewarding site for birders.
