Vermosh is the northernmost village of Albania. The village lies in a valley of the Albanian Alps, along a river with the same name. Many visitors come to Vermosh for its mountain views. The very wide, flat bed of the river Vermosh, which has created a smooth, stony depression, with wide views. The natural landscape is great area for birding and hiking. Among the birds you can encounter are orel skalní, sokol stěhovavý, vlha pestrá, rehek domácí, dudek chocholatý, skorec vodní, ťuhýk obecný, lejsek šedý, konipas horský, konipas bílý, pěvuška podhorní, slavík obecný, bělořit okrový and drozd brávník.
Easy access by car. Vermosh is located in the north of Albania, close to the border with Montenegro. From Tirana it's about 200 km.
