Beesands Ley (sometimes called Widdicombe Ley), is just to the South of Slapton Ley, in South Devon.
Beesands Ley has commoner species but has had rarities such as Ring-necked Duck. So is always worth checking if you are in the area. The Ley (or lake) is just off the beach and has two small islands and a bird hide, the path to which can get flooded, so boots are advised.
