A nice little landscaped wetland with a colony of breeding Black-headed Gull and occasional pairs of Slavonian Grebe and Eurasian Moorhen.
Storhaga Våtmark is one of the few permanent wetlands in the region. Ducks such as Eurasian Wigeon and Garganey can be seen as well as occasional breeding Slavonian Grebe, Eurasian Moorhen and Tufted Duck. The site is easily accessible next to the road and is always worth a visit and can easily be checked out in a few minutes.
Storhaga Våtmark is located directly south of the town of Ljusdal. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can comfortably overlook the area directly from the road.
