Description

Birding at Näsbyholmssjön is easiest from the south side, stopping along the road. There is a bigger parking lot at the east side of the lake from where the main parts can be seen. The lake gives a good variety of ducks and occasionally Garganey and often Little Grebe.

At the western side there is a path following the lake which gives a good view of the small islands on that side. Here ducks and waders , mainly Tringa and Ruff, gather.

The area west of Näsbyholmssjön is well known for being good for raptors, and through the years Golden Eagle, Steppe Eagle and Imperial Eagle have been seen., but more often White-tailed Eagle.
