Description

Lidhemsjön is a big lake 22 km south of the city of Växjö. The lake and its surroundings offer a variety of landscapes. Therefore a big variety of birds can be seen. Among the birds you can encounter are Common Cuckoo, Common Crane, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Curlew, Common Snipe, Black-throated Diver, Great Bittern, Great Egret, Osprey, Western Marsh Harrier, Red Kite, White-tailed Eagle, Common Buzzard, Greylag Goose, Whooper Swan, Gadwall, Eurasian Wigeon and Northern Pintail.
