Description

The bay near the village Hedesunda is called Hedesunda Fjärderna, a unique landscape, with hundreds of small islands, marshes and ancient woods. The birdlife is very extensive; you’ll find a large variety of Woodpeckers, Owls and you can see Osprey. Among the other birds you can see are Common Gull, Goosander, White-tailed Eagle, Common Goldeneye, Red-throated Diver, Common Crane and Whooper Swan. The are is also the habitat for wildlife such as, moose, deer, beaver, lynx and bear.

Access

A small parkingplace near the lake. From the lake shore you can see a small isle with on the right site a pine tree with a huge Osprey nest.
