Description

Holmuddens Fyr is a lighthouse on the easternmost point on the island of Fårö with beautiful scenery and nice views. The place should be avoided during the holiday season, mid-June to mid-August. There is a limestone beach with some low rocks. The lighthouse has a fenced area. Among the birds you can see are Sandwich Tern, Common Scoter, Black Guillemot, White-tailed Eagle, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Velvet Scoter, Purple Sandpiper, Goldcrest and Black Redstart.
