Description

Flogen is a bay in the river Dalälven (Österdalälven). The Flogen area has many different habitats in a small area. There is deciduous forest, arable land and between the village and the river it is an open pasture with partly shallow river beaches. This attracts a nice variety of birds like Barnacle Goose, Little Ringed Plover, Grey Wagtail, Black-throated Diver, White-tailed Eagle and Common Rosefinch.
