Irrigation ponds in the southeast of the island of Gran Canaria. A good place to check out as it can attract interesting species of birds.
La Florida are irrigation ponds that attract a nice array of birds. Mostly water birds, but also some birds of dryer conditions. Among the birds you can encounter are Yellow-legged Gull, Ruddy Shelduck, Grey Heron, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Little Egret, Spanish Sparrow and Canary.
