Description

Pureun Arboretum (푸른수목원) is a good place for birding, especially in summer. The most iconic species in this place is the Yellow Bittern. Just like the other bitterns, it is usually hiding in the tall grasses, so you should be patient. Other species you can observe in this place include the Oriental Reed Warbler, Eurasian Hobby, Dollarbird, Eurasian Moorhen, Common Kingfisher, and Grey-backed Thrush.

Pureun Arboretum is located in Guro distric in Seoul. The access is possible by public transport, there are many buses that go to the direction.
