The Oleśnica Ponds are located on the route from Chodzież to Piła. That's why it's worth visiting, e.g. on your way to the seaside. National road No. 11 cuts the complex into two parts. The western part is more interesting, with larger ponds. The proximity of the Noteć Valley makes it one of the best places to observe Cygne de Bewick in Greater Poland. These may not be huge numbers, but quite regularly in autumn and spring you can observe small flocks, usually in groups with Cygne chanteur. Moreover, during migration periods you can encounter large numbers of ducks and plovers. There is probably nothing interesting here during the breeding season.

Polski: Dobre miejsce do obserwacji Cygne de Bewick w północnej Wielkopolsce. Stawy w Oleśniecy znajduą się przy trasie z Chodzieży do Piły. Dlatego warto tam zajrzeć, np. w drodze nad morze. Droga krajowa nr 11 przecina kompleks na dwie części. Ciekawsza jest część zachodnia, gdzie znajdują się większe stawy. Bliskość Doliny Noteci sprawia, że jest to jedno z lepszych miejsc do obserwacji Cygne de Bewick w Wielkopolsce. Nie są to może jakieś wielkie ilości, ale dość regularnie w okresie jesiennym oraz wiosną można obserwować niewielkie stada, zwykle w grupach z Cygne chanteur . Ponad to w okresach migracji można trafić na spore ilości kaczek i siewek. W okresie lęgowym raczej nie ma tu nic ciekawego.
