The Everdingerwaard is a floodplain along the Lek between Fort Everdingen and the town of Everdingen with varied biotopes and birds.
The Everdingerwaard is a varied wet and dry nature reserve. There are reed lands, meadows, banks and marshlands. This also attracts a great diversity of bird species. The area has a beautiful walking route where you can observe and photograph the birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Lebădă de vară, Rață cârâitoare, Rață lingurar, Rață pestriță, Corcodel mic, Cârstel de baltă, Sitar de mal, Grelușel de stuf, Stufărică, Silvie mică, Șorecar comun, Călifar alb and Silvie de câmp.

Nederlands: De Everdingerwaard is een uiterwaardengebied langs de Lek tussen Fort Everdingen en Everdingen met met afwisselend natte en droge gedeelten. Er zijn rietlanden, weilanden, oevers en moerassen. Dit trekt ook een grote diversiteit aan vogelsoorten aan. Er loopt een prachtige wandelroute waarlangs je de vogels kunt observeren en fotograferen. Vogels die je onder meer kunt tegenkomen zijn Lebădă de vară, Rață cârâitoare, Rață lingurar, Rață pestriță, Corcodel mic, Cârstel de baltă, Sitar de mal, Grelușel de stuf, Stufărică, Silvie mică, Șorecar comun, Călifar alb en Silvie de câmp.
Parking is possible next to the entrance to Fort Everdingen and limited in Everdingen. Exploration only on foot. Less suitable for wheelchair users.
