Description

Parco dell'Argingrosso is a ittle frequented city park compared to the large Parco delle Cascine across the river Arno. Near the pond of Parco dell'Argingrosso you have the possibility of rare sightings. Among the more common birds you can see in the park are Rose-ringed Parakeet, Egyptian Goose, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Eurasian Kestrel, European Serin, Common Chaffinch, Greenfinch and European Goldfinch.

It can be reached on foot or by bicycle from the city center of Florence following the road that runs alongside the river Arno (The distance from the Ponte Vecchio bridge to Parco dell'Argingrosso is about 5 km).
