In the polders Pinnow and Immenstädt the wet areas offer good observation conditions all year round. During the breeding season White-winged Tern, Black Tern and Common Tern are present. Sedge Warbler, Savi's Warbler and also Bearded Tit can be observed in the reed areas. The latter, like White-tailed Eagle, are present all year round. During migration times you can find waders such as Wood Sandpiper, Northern Lapwing, Black-tailed Godwit and Eurasian Curlew. Numerous geese and ducks are present in autumn and winter.
The polders Pinnow and Immenstädt are located between the towns of Anklam and Usedom. There are two parking options and a few smaller parking bays on the main road. A cycle path also runs parallel to the street. Click on a P in the map for directions.
