Description

Kiessee Rodersdorf is an old gravel pit surrounded by farmland, bushes and rows of trees. Among the birds that can be observed are Greylag Goose, Mute Swan, Eurasian Hobby, Tufted Duck, Great Crested Grebe, Great Cormorant, Sand Martin, Common Kingfisher and European Bee-eater.

Access

Kiessee Rodersdorf is located between the villages of Rodersdorf and Wegeleben. You can walk to the area from Rodersdorf over a small path and a bridge over the river Bode or you can drive there by car or cycle from Wegeleben. Click on the P in the map for directions.
