This site includes two observatories. The small observatory of the Bénisme pond and the Barineau observatory.
The bird hides of the Foucaults lakes offer different birds depending on the season. In winter you can observe ducks like Eurasian Wigeon and Common Teal, but also Great Egret. April, August and September is a good time to spot Osprey. In May you can often see Whiskered Tern. In June Northern Shoveler, Common Pochard and Little Ringed Plover. From April to July Black Kite. Observation is recommended in the evening.

Observation en hiver du Canard siffleur, de la Sarcelle d'hiver ou de la Grande Aigrette ; en avril, août et septembre du Balbuzard ; en mai de la Guifette Moustac ; en juin des Canards souchets et milouins et du petit Gravelot ; d'avril à juillet du Milan noir.
Access via the Blizon road (D17a), parking area on the right after the Foucault farm. Take the 1st observatory path 5 minutes away, the 2nd 3 minutes further. Click on the P in the map for directions.
