Description
The Sharm el-Sheikh Sewage Ponds are an abandoned place. Nevertheless, the former ponds, the old buildings, a small stand of reeds, and a few bushes offer resting places and habitat for birds such as Sardinian Warbler, Spanish Sparrow, Sand Martin, Pale Crag-Martin and Barn Swallow. In the surrounding area Bar-tailed Lark, Greater Hoopoe-Lark and Crowned Sandgrouse can be observed.
